January Saturday Afternoon Die Cut Class 23-Januaury 2016

Hello again All, so excited about a die cut class again! I have fallen in love with the Elizabeth dies, they are awesome. They have a base (usually I cut it out in black) and then you build the layers on top.

Here are some really cute animals that I paired with just the right sayings!
(by the way I cut out one of the party hats for the fox and it works perfectly but you will have to come to class to see because I added it after I took this scan but trust me it is adorable with pompom and stickles!)

Hope you can join us tomorrow, great activity for a cold January afternoon...

See you tomorrow!

New classes tomorrow

Wow, I did not realize that it has been that long since I have been on the blog. It was a very busy year with the arrival of our first grand child, baby Lucy. And yes, she is blue eyed and red haired but mommy picked the name Lucy way before she saw her. We all could not be happier and Lucy is now over 6 mos old!

This Saturday we have a basic Copic class featuring the cute little Penny Black valentine critters. (note: the little mice in the moon is a wobbler - too cute!)

Some ladies choose to bring their own markers so here are the colors:

B000 (or B00)
E04, E31, E33, E37, E43, E51 (or E00)
RV02, RV14 - RV29 (or RV63 - RV66)
R35, R59, R85
Y11, Y38
W3, W5, W6, W7

0 (if needed)

*** Add E87 for afternoon die cut class

Class size is limited, call to sign up today. Hope to see you there.

Info to follow with the afternoon class information which I fell in love with too!

How about a little Halloween in August?

I absolutely fell in love with these little mice and kitty when I saw them at the Hero Arts display at CHA (Craft & Hobby Assoc) convention in the Chicago area last month. So, I begged and pleaded and cried to Therese at Polkadots and More until I finally was able to walk out with them!

...and they were not the only items that I begged and pleaded and cried for by the way so watch for more fun stuff coming up

I don't think that the stamps are out just yet but Polkadots and More has an order coming maybe the end of this month.
If you want to put your name on the list, just give them a call.

In the meantime, I was so happy with them I picked out the paper, ribbons, etc. and we are going to make them in my next class in August. Where does it say we have to wait until October?!?!?!

The little mice on the pumpkin are not quite done, I have to get my Lawn Fawn stitched leaves dies to put little leaves on there nestling the pumpkin in the patch.

List of colors to follow next week.
Space is limited so give them a call today to sign up for class.
See you the 24th!

Aug 22 - Stamp & Die Cut class

Hello again ladies. Here is a little sampling of the afternoon class at Polkadots and More. We are doing a stamp and matching die cut class and highlighting Therese's new line of snarkie stamps, Two Lips. I have multiple sayings for you to pick from but these will be the base cards.

These "Two Lips" stamps are "Too Fun"!

PS: very little Copics in this class but if you want to bring yours,
we are using E87 and E33

Contact Polkadots for more info - hope to see you there!

Have A Ball, Just Ducky & Well Done this Saturday Afternoon class

Hello all. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Here are the colors that we will be using for the afternoon class if you want to bring your own markers:

YR04, YR23, YR35, YR68
C1, W7, E23, E31, E37, E87, Y28, YG63
BG10, R29, R59
***and misc gumball colors one light and one to shade

I used too many colors on the gumballs, got a little tedious, so I want to redo with maybe 4 or 5 colors and matching shading ones.

Hope to see you there!
